On December 30th, 42° made a significant impact by donating 500 food items and presenting a generous check to the Omaha Veterans Food Pantry, helping to meet the urgent needs of veterans and their families in the region. This donation is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to support the over 45,000 veterans in Nebraska and Western Iowa, ensuring they are not left hungry and have access to essential resources.
“Thanks to the generosity of 42°, their $11,000 contribution provided crucial flexibility, allowing us to purchase additional food and dietary items to better serve our veterans,” said Jennifer Servant of the Homeless Veterans Food Pantry.
“In addition, 42° donated over $18,000 worth of food to the pantry last year alone. These contributions are vital in ensuring that veterans and their families are well-fed and don’t have to worry about going without.”
Michael Ingram, director of the Omaha Veterans Food Pantry, echoed the importance of these donations. “Our donations go a long way in helping over 45,000 veterans across Nebraska and Western Iowa,” said Ingram.
“This food helps bridge the gap for veterans, providing much-needed assistance from month to month. I am proud to say that 42° is the largest donor to the Homeless Veterans Food Pantry, and their continued support plays a crucial role in ensuring our veterans receive the care they deserve.”
The efforts from 42° and their partners continue to make a significant impact in the lives of veterans in need. Their support helps address food insecurity and provides hope for those who have served our country.
