What is The Veterans Food Pantry?
Unfortunately, many American veterans are low-income or homeless. These honored veterans may not know where their next meal comes from despite their sacrifices for our nation. That’s why the Veterans Food Pantry in Nebraska provides food and other necessities to local veterans in need with help from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Veterans Food Pantry in Omaha gathers donations like non-perishables and hygiene products. This service plays a vital role in the lives of veterans in Nebraska. Their hard work and values inspired the 42 Degrees staff to get involved with veterans affairs in the local community.
Why 42 Degrees?

How It All Began
In November 2020, 42 Degrees hosted the food drive for the Omaha Veterans Food Pantry, encouraging our loyal customer to bring in donations.
What resulted was incredible and a true testament to our clients’ open hearts and generosity. With thousands of dollars worth in food and money donated from the 42 Degrees owner, Scott Haber, we saw what an impact our company could make. And we just didn’t want to stop there!
The 42 Degrees Sponsorship
To keep all this goodness going, 42 Degrees has committed a year-round sponsorship. Here’s what that will look like in practice:
– Taking donations at every 42 Degrees location all year
When you find yourself with some extra, non-perishable food on hand or want to make the most of your day, you can always bring donations to any of our locations.
– Special sales
Who doesn’t love a sale? Now throughout the year, enjoy special, limited-time sales. During the sale, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Omaha Veterans Food Pantry.

Just as we’ve supported our clients through obstacles and trials, we know our clients want to support the Omaha community just as much. This is why we’re proud to make our donation boxes available to customers at all times.
